About the CreatorsWe're strategy board gamers creating a service for strategy board gamers. Our primary aim is to connect people together to play games that require more thought than twitch. In time, Igfip will allow you to play abstract board games, eurogames, role-playing games, card games, and wargames of all types. Also, we intend eventually to allow you to upload your own game parts so you can play any game you can imagine with other players. You will even be able to implement your own rules for many abstract strategy games. The advantages of Web-based gaming via Igfip are clear. You don't have to install special software. We make it easy to find people to play with and make new friends. There's no set up time (this is especially important to wargamers). You can have multiple games going at the same time without cluttering your table. You can play from anywhere at any time as long as you have access to a compatible Web browser. You don't have to play a game in one sitting if you don't have the time. Come back when you're ready to play and your game will be waiting for you. Many of our games feature a computer opponent, in case you want to play alone. You can even play against yourself if you want to practice new strategies before taking on an opponent.
